@ASMROW I think the RED 'Esc' button is a logical to prevent users from pressing it accidentally. I wonder why you would have confused it with powet button. Thats the universal position for ESC button on any keyboard. I agree with you on not having power button in the keyboard.

My only issue with it is it doesn’t have an RGB backlit, it is meant as a gaming laptop because of it’s GPU.

could you do a pwm filcker test on zenfone 10 and Xperia 5v. A lot of people are sensitive to pwm flicker from OLDEd dislays and it would help. thaniks

A bit of a flawed argument video based on what I think is a misunderstanding! The Micro-four-Thirds lens is a 17mm f1.8, and renders the same DOF as a FF 17mm f1.8 would. The only equivalence here is the Field Of View (34mm). If you take a shot with a 50mm f1.8 on a FF camera, then mount the same lens to an APS-C camera and also a MFT camera (with adapter) and shoot the same subject from the same distance using the same shutter speed, aperture and ISO settings you will get an identical DOF, but the image will appear cropped on APS-C and MFT in the same way it would from the FF camera cropped in post. The sensor size does not affect the DOF, it's the lens and distance to the subject. So, shooting with a 17mm f1.8 on MFT will give you a 34mm FF equivalent FOV but give you the same DOF as if you had shoot the scene with a 17mm f1.8 FF lens and cropped in post. It's really that simple. If shallow DOF is your goto dream then use FF. If you need more DOF (landscape, macro etc) then MFT has lots of advantages.

How many programs do you have running in the background where the video editing was that bad? I use a 4 or 5 year old HP pavillion 15 eg something for like 700 bucks, and can mix and add video some pretty plugin heavy tracks without any lagging, and have next to nothing latency....just have a hard time thinking its going to be that bad unless you have an super heavy programs going on outside of that..

4k is heavy man. I'm not surprised. It's 4 times as wide a screen area as an FHD one. Unless you have core ultra and rtx4050 or better, this lag is expected

I have the same problem. Right side fan rattling like a tractor. Also sometimes there is this loud POP sound followed by hissing. It seems to happen randomly when the fans turn on or there is some sound to be played. Did ASUS fix your laptop?
